Week 6 - Leave a mark!

Brit Pool Vs. Sexxxyy Poolerz

Just two weeks ago, the unexpected happened as Brit Pool was defeated by Ultimate Outlaws. Last week, BP arrived with fury, gave it their all but just barely cashed in a victory Vs. a weaker MIB side. After a close great feud against Freedom, Sexy Poolerz came out short in Week 4, but came at Week 5 and destroyed UO who have done nothing more than shock us these last few months. There will be a great fist collision today between these two powerhouses, but only one will come out as victor, who will it be??

Prediction => Sexy Poolerz win 4-1

Magic Pool Vs. Ultimate Outlaws

Magic Pool's been having some bad weeks as of late[losing vs EPC in 1 week, losing to Freedom in another]. I say it is okay since they are losing to the top two leagues in the interleague[lol, j/k]. Though its real, coming off from two utterly difficult weeks, they come face to face Vs. an easier side, that is UO. Them Outlaws aren't to be underestimated though, as mentioned above, they have been shocking us lately and getting some great wins Vs. strong teams. Magic pool though might be too much for UO to bear.

Prediction => Magic Pool wins 4-1

Straight Shots Vs. Freedom

Nigel told me himself that he doesn't care about GIT much and he proved it last week by losing badly vs a determined EPC side. With Craig out of SS and now in FR,the stacks are reversed. But unlike previous weeks, SS will take this match to serious as there are many players in there that dont like Petey and/or FR. Well, instead of rambling incoherently with absolutly no reason, they can do so, and prove they can win if they want. But what does Petey have to say about that?

Prediction => Freedom win 3-2

Money in the bank Vs. Extreme Pool Competitors

We've been witnessing a new & improved MIB team with new players arriving to steal the show. Isn't it just fun joining a rookie league and making a great name out of it? They have Adam (mvp.cubs) and Dawn(idk the id). But this time, they face a strong EPC team with a beast of a captain and a beast of a team with a beast of a lawl'er(u can guess who that is). So this should be interesting...

Prediction => EPC win 4-1

MIB Vs. BP => BP wins 4-1

EPC Vs. SS => EPC wins 4-1

FR Vs. MP => MP wins 3-2

UO Vs. SP => SP wins 4-1

Week 4!

Brit Pool Vs. Ultimate Outlaws

Britpool finally won a match last week which stripped them out of # 8 position. They defeated a tough StraightShots side 3-2 which which placed them on #6 rank. Ultimate Outlaws was destroyed by Freedom, they couldnt win a single game. This match is going to be interesting, I believe Brit Pool will win this.

Prediction => Brit Pool wins 3-2

Sexy Poolerz Vs. Freedom

Sexy poolerz come to play week 4 with a great win against EPC in week 3. They were smart by keeping Ketan as their 5th player and clincher when EPC had called their bet players early on in the match. Now they also have the home team advantage. Freedom has about the same team in here as in IPA, but what can they do against a solid SP side that possess players like Pete & Ketan? No doubt an interesting match, heck, it's even match of the week!

Prediction => Freedom wins 3-2

Magic Pool Vs. Extreme Pool Competitors

Another great match here! GIT leaders against previous IPA leaders[finally lost leadership after 7 weeks]. Magic Pool now sitting at #1 rank, undefeated, will look to remain undefeated after week 4 is done. But EPC enraged after a very close week 3 loss will look to blow their rage on a tough MP side and get 3-1 just like them in a possible tie for 1st rank.

Prediction => Magic Pool 3-2

Straight Shots Vs. Money In The Bank

Is predicting this match even worth my time?

Prediction => Straight Shots destroy 5-0!

There they are, short but sweet! Don't like 'em? Don't read 'em...!

Week 3 Bash!

Straight Shots Vs. Brit Pool

A horrible & very painful loss by Straight Shots against Magic Pool in week 2 losing all games. Well, what more could Magicpool ask for? The wildcards are a big help for them. They all can bank, lp or reg, so there you go. Straight shots, now sitting at the last playoffs spot, will look to demolish the last ranked Britpool league. They have good players [1 is Kevin that just joined up with them for interleagues]. Britpool are on a losing streak, they were predicted rank 1 or 2 by everyone[except me of course] at the beginning of the season, and look where they are at now. But that can easily change as there are 12 weeks remaining and if they win all[which they wont], they can be 12-2 at the end[just pointing out that they shouldnt give up yet]. However, I know that Straightshots hate losing that badly, so they will take this one home with ease.

Prediction => Staight Shots win 4-1

Money In The Bank Vs. Magic Pool

MIB are another league that has yet to win, but MIB are rookies so I don't blame them. Magic Pool are better in so many ways, they will destroy MIB in this match no sweat.

Prediction => Magic Pool win 5-0

Match of the Week - Extreme Pool Competitors Vs. Sexy Poolerz

EPC have been outstanding in IPA so far, and look to be the same here in GIT. Last week, they didn't play very good as 2 of their top players couldnt win, but they still won the match 3-2 vs Ultimate Outlaws. A great performance by SP last week as they cashed in at week 2 and beat MIB 3-2. I know they are good on cam and I yet expect more from them throughout the season. While every other predictor says SP & Jack don't get along well, they are right but Jack is willing to put the past behind him as long as SP can do the same and have a historical match that will remain in the books for a long time. I know they can do that, bol to both teams!

Prediction => EPC win 3-2

Freedom Vs. Ultimate Outlaws

Hmmph, here's another great match. Both of these leagues have a 1-1 record thus far. Both will do whatever it takes to get a win more instead of a loss more. Peter and his captain[less] team will look to vaporize UO here today, and I believe they will do just that.

Prediction => Freedom win 4-1

Week Uno

Welcome to my week 1 predictions!

Magic Pool Vs. Brit Pool

This match is very interesting. Infact, aren't they all? Magic Pool has picked up Steve and Missy, missy being a good banker, and they have their originals: Chris, Joe & Ian for instance. They are very underestimated perhaps from what I've read from the other predictors. Magic Pool was the league to watch last season in UIC, which also had a 5v5 format. At that time though, they had Jason who left to BP, Mike who got boxed, and Dan that met the same fate by allowing Mike to play on his id, on cam. Brit Pool is considered one of the best leagues in GIT this season to many. While yes they raised their league activity and yes, they have more interleague players, but to be fair, they will have to play every one of them to be fair. It is really down to who calls the best players at the best time here. But I think MP will cause a big upset here and win this match by using their bt8/q wild card on Missy and probably the LP wildcard on Steve!

Prediction => Magic Pool wins 4-1

Straight Shots Vs. Extreme Cues

Another interesting match here, where a stronger league faces a more determined league. Straight Shots is well-known by everyone, they don't need any description. Extreme Cuez picked up a new captain: Ben, and a new co-captain: Duke. The interesting part in this match is that both leagues have something to prove. Straightshots, like I mentioned in my pre-season blog, has been called an aimer league in the past by several people. This will be the ultimate opportunaty for Nigel n Co. to prove they don't aim since GIT is all cam. On the other hand, Extreme Cues will look to reearning the respect of everyone by winning matches. I've known Paul for a rather long time and he's a nice guy with good pool skills. He will do his best to stay by his cvapt's and co-capt's side always to drag them to win easy matches. Though both leagues are very determined, only one will win tonight, and I put my money on Straight Shots.

Prediction => Straight Shots win 4-1

Money In The Bank Vs. Ultimate Outlaws

Like I said, I do not know much yet about Money In The Bank so they have a lot to prove this season in GIT, by of course winning matches and causing some unexpected upsets, like Pool Dragonz did Vs. Straight Shots last season in IPA. Ultimate Outlaws is improving day by day. They participate in every interleague there is right now. It's a piece of cake for them trying to find players for interleagues. Few weeks ago, we all knew Jordy would for sure play under UO, but since UO withdrew from WPC, we cannot tell what will happen. Besides, when I spoke to Jordy, he said he does not like Sunday interleagues. I do not know how they can do without Jordy. In the past, UO wasn't really the league to talk about, but little by little, they started earning some respect by demonstrating their amount of legit sportsmanship. Reb and Angel will try to win the matches, regardless having Jordy or not.

Prediction => Ultimate Outlaws win 4-1

Extreme Pool Competitors Vs. Operation Freeeeeeeeedom

These 2 teams met last week in an epic IPA match where none came at top. EPC won the first 3 games, only to be dissapointed by losing the other 3. Both leagues have their fair skills and their fair decent players. Jack has been working hard on helping his captain Timm on getting good players in his GIT team. From what I have been hearing, they are getting new all-star players in their team, in likes of Ant, Daru, Sean(lilsparky) and such. They have the players, but the only problem here will be getting them eligible seeing how the league is inactive. Freedom face the same weakness, that is getting people eligible. They have only a few players signed up and I heard 1 or 2 of the new predictors think Freedom will either suck or withdraw very soon in the season. Peter is not the type that gives up. He is ready to unleash everything he can in order to win, and if he loses, he slaps his next opponents even harder by giving them the match of their life. But looking at the odds here, I think EPC will come on top with 1 more win.

Prediction => Extreme Pool Competitors win 3-2

A new start to a new Interleague! Pre-season Predictions

Welcome to GIT season 1 everyone! It's not every day we get a new interleague that works out right. Chris had the first thought of making an interleague of his own, with new elaborate rules and a brand new format. Joe came up with the wild cards idea which I think is good because it is something new. I wanna thank all 6 admins for their hard work to help bring to us something new & fun. Since it is only Season 1 they chose to allow only 8 leagues in the interleague, just like IPA had done in it's first season, and look at it now at Season 3. There are new & special rules for this interleague and I would like everyone participating in it to read them over and ask the staff for any help. Also, if anyone has any ideas on how we can make GIT better in the following season, or even this one, contact Chris and/or Joe and they will do their best on making them happen. For now I will be predicting alongside Mister Predictor, Timm, Ben and Tyler, and any other person willing to be a predictor is very welcome. Once again, I would like to wish all 8 teams participating in GIT season 1 the best of luck. Let's make this a big one!

Pre-season Predictions

#1 position - Magic Pool

I have seen & read all 4 predictors' point of views. They all placed MP in the lower 4 positions which I think will hunt them down once the season kicks off and pursuits till it's end. Some may think now that I am only predicting MP first to suck up to the h/a but I can assure you it is not for that reason. Steve and Missy are 2 new players to MP interleagues, that joined to help Chris and MP out. I know that Missy is a very nice banker, and she is also one of the best female pool players out there today. Steve is admin in several cam comps and also a great player. Then there's Joe, then there's Ian, who is one of the originals for Magic Pool, and let's not forget to mention, the great Chris. They have many others of course, but I'm not going to talk about all 1 by 1. My point is that these 5 together form a strong team that will thrive to get MP back up the standings in every interleague they participate in and win the big thing: the championship!

#2 position - Extreme Pool Competitors

Isn't it fun predicting myself in third person? Well for me it sure is. I could have put EPC first in rank, but I would hate doing that. I mean, it's already Hell predicting yourself and your own team and trying not to do favoritism or anything. But in reality, I think EPC will be either 1st or 2nd in GIT. Some may find it funny, I don't care what they think sadly though. We all already know what EPC is doing in IPA with Jack as captain, and we know that they are yet to be defeated and have a nice roster. Amazingly, they have a much bigger and better roster in GIT, I won't say any names, but you all will find out shortly, wont you? Jack says he does not plan on losing ANY week, though he's not the captain here, but Timm promises the very same thing.

#3 position - British (Brit) Pool

I was planning under Freedom and StraighShots but I took a look at their signed up players and I find they are not bad at all. It's no wonder: Drew started rebuilding BP, I mean by increasing his league's activity, ie: league games and trnys. Also, after 8 ball crushers quit all interleagues due to lack of further interest, so a good part of 8BC interleague players moved to BP, not just in GIT, but every other interleague too. Some others came because the league activity was good. Right now they have a good list of players but it all depends on who they pick every week. Sadly that will be their bigest weakness throughout the season, picking the right people out of so many players. I say their key players would be Drew, Jeremy, and prolly 10cent [I heard he's good].

#4 position - Straight Shots

Nigel is 1 that sure hates making predictor pictures for Jack, lol. Straightshots is a good league [fun & active]. There have been a few rumors a while before that a few ss players have aimers, but SS now participates in Cam interleague [with the exception of UIC, but apparently, they are even camming there]. This interleague will be a great chance to prove to a few that they can bank on cam same way as off cam. They have a big roster like BP, and they will face the same disadvantages which is mainly the selection of the correct 5 players each & every week. I know some of their signed up players like Shannon, Nigel, Mike and Nish. They are decent players and will guarantee a continuous good performance.

#5 position - Operation Freeeeeeeeedom!

I'd normally predict Freedom 1st or 2nd, but I unfortunatly cannot, because they only have 3 players signed up and with 3, there is'nt much they can do. But Peter's a good man, loyal and truthful. If he can manage to get his same IPA players in GIT then it will be alright, unless he decides to withdraw and play for someone else which I sure don't wanna see happening. Well I just spoke to Peter and he says he will have a full team, a capt and a co-capt by sunday, so heads up duke and ben, I could erase all that I wrote up there but i cba, lol. I do believe in Peter, I really think he will do well and prove the 2 other predictors wrong! Consider yourself as #2-3 rank, Ily poo :X

#6 position - Ultimate Outlaws

I don't even have to look at signed up players for UO, because I already know they should have plenty and even if they don't, it's a piece of cake for them getting people signed up. I had a nice 3-4 week road with UO in WPC, it was very fun, I met new people and they are very nice and sportsmanlike to say the least. I don't know how but everytime I went to their league room, there would be like 20 or more league members there but they only run 10-20 trnys a day. Anywhore, they withdrew from WPC not agreeing to the rules it appears. Hope all goes well for UO in GIT, Reb's a nice guy and a good cap'n, also a great head admin, he just has to control his and her wife's temper sometimes. If everything goes well with them, they should do fine this season, maybe even get in top 5, let's wait & find out.

#7 position - Extreme Cues

Eh, I bet Duke and Ben won't be happy seeing where I placed them, but guess what, it's my personal opinion. I know Mitch left EC and some came back to playing more, there is even more league activity, but I really don't know how that will help in interleagues. They have a few players signed up, I only see Paul & Derek in that team that are good, Ben & Duke are okay I guess. I personaly don't see them going far up the standings, but who says i'm right. I'm just 1 guy doing his predictions, other's may think completely different, I just have 3 words to those who don't like this prediction...Prove me wrong!

#8 position - Money In The Bank

Uhm, I still don't know MIB well, some say they are arrogant and cocky, some say different, guess I'll have to play them myself to find out, till then I got nothing much to say about them. They only got 4 people signed up, and it's people I've never heard of in my ypool life.They are new to interleagues, and I don't see them doing much in an interleague full of good leagues. Good luck!

Well there they are, I put time on these, yes even hours so no lame comments, enjoy! Week 1 should be up shortly..
